Affiliate guide · Placement

Build the route around the right venues.

A busy address is only the starting point. Good placements bring together guests who need a charge, enough time to use one, a visible station and a venue team that understands the service.

Look for the moment a charge becomes useful.

Think about how people use their phones during the visit. A night out, a hotel stay or a long event creates different needs from a quick takeaway stop. Visit prospective locations during their normal busy periods and observe how guests move and how long they stay.

  • Guests stay long enough to make portable charging useful.
  • Phones are used for photos, tickets, payments, messages or rides.
  • The station can be seen from a natural part of the guest journey.
  • The team is comfortable pointing guests toward the service.

Match the equipment to the floor.

The J8 Pro is the compact counter option. The J24 Pro and J48 Pro offer more capacity in freestanding formats. Measure the proposed space and consider guest access, return slots, power and screen visibility. More slots do not replace a thoughtful placement.

Make the venue conversation specific.

Explain the guest experience, who handles installation and service, and the placement arrangement you are proposing. Ask about the venue's busiest periods and where staff are currently asked for chargers. Agree the commercial details with the decision-maker before treating the location as secured.

  • Who can approve the placement?
  • Where could guests comfortably rent and return?
  • What access is available for installation and service?
  • What venue compensation or screen-content arrangement will apply?
  • Who is the day-to-day contact at the location?

Keep your first route manageable.

Group prospects in an area you can work consistently. A nearby set of relationships is easier to develop than a long list spread across the region. JB Charging CA supports placements across six Southern California regions; discuss your counties, venue list and installation timing with the team.

Review the placement after it goes live.

Use rental activity and venue feedback to understand how the station is doing. If use is lower than expected, look at visibility, guest flow, staff awareness and pricing before assuming more equipment is the answer. Keep a record of the changes you make so you can learn from them.

Questions, answered.

Do I need to own a venue?

No. Affiliates can place their machines in other businesses and agree the hosting arrangement with the venue.

Does JB Charging CA find every location for me?

Securing the venue is part of the affiliate's role. Discuss your prospect list and placement plan with the team before purchasing.

Which venue types should I consider?

Bars, restaurants, hotels, gyms, breweries, casinos, stadiums and events can be relevant. Assess the actual guest behavior, space and operating conditions at each location.

Is a high-traffic venue guaranteed to perform?

No. Foot traffic is one factor. Guest need, visit length, station visibility, pricing and the venue's support for the placement all matter.
